 I have had many rewarding
experiences since I graduated from Maryland in 1975, including a
23-year marketing career at Procter & Gamble and my current
role as the Executive Director of the Coffee Quality Institute,
a small non-profit that works internationally to improve coffee
quality and the lives of those who produce it. I travel extensively
to developing countries and I am encouraged by the entrepreneurial
spirit of independent coffee farmers. While there are many challenges
in today’s world, the desire to make a better life for our
families and our communities is a common goal that unites our spirits. |
